Stay Smooth this Party Season

How many women forget about shaving during the winter? Who hasn't been guilty of that!? Sometimes, when it's snowy and cold, the last thing on our minds is keeping our legs smooth and hair free. But let's face it ladies....hairy legs is not usually such a good look when attending a Holiday party in a short little cocktail dress. It never hurts to keep smooth if you have to head to a party last minute or to keep turning your man's head!

I recently had the opportunity to review the Quattro for Women two in one Bikini Trimmer and razor as well as the Disposable Razors. The disposable razors were simple but handy. They were gentle and provided a nice close shave and the blades stayed nice and sharp and I had zero cuts. They are also super handy to travel with and definitely do their job. I loved these disposable razors with the Skintimate Moisturizing Cream Shave with Exfoliating Pearls and Verbena.

I absolutely love the bikini Trimmer. The comb is adjustable to three different lengths and the razor is a 4 blade razor so it provides a nice close shave. It's powered by an AAA battery and turns on with a press of a button. Very fool proof and easy to use. It'd be an excellent tool for anyone just starting out with cleaning up that bikini line. It makes the whole process much quicker and simpler. It may not be bikini season quite yet but it's always good to be prepared! ;-)

Holiday Dresses for Your Body shape

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!!!! :-) Tis the season for the Cocktail Dress! With all of the Holiday parties coming up, it's the perfect time to find that dress that makes you feel fabulous! Here is a quick and simple guide to finding the best dresses to suit your shape! (All examples shown are available at Nordstrom! )

Apple Shape
Try finding a dress with an empire waist that hits at the narrowest part of your body, just under your bust. Apple shapes usually have incredible legs so show off those gams! Details at the Neckline help draw the attention up towards your face.
Way-In Embellished Pleated Party Dress
Price: $56

Straight Shape
This shape is the classic model shape. It's easy to pull off a variety of looks with this body shape. Why not go dramatic and add a little bling? Wear something eye-catching. A sheath, one shoulder dress is dramatic as well as giving the appearance of curves.
Aidan Mattox Sequin One Shoulder Dress
Price: $295

Hourglass Shape
This shape is the classic "pin-up girl" shape. If you have an hourglass shape, accentuate that waist! Anything the is fitted at the waist will look lovely. I love the classic 50's and early 60s style dresses on the Hourglass figure. Anything with a sweetheart or v-neck will also be lovely.
Suzi Chin for Maggy Boutique Sleeveless Stretch Satin Sheath Dress
Price: $98

Pear Shape
An A-Line silhouette nipped in at the waist flows lightly over the hips helping to minimize the appearance of a fuller lower half. Wearing something strapless can also help emphasize the bust and draw the attention to your striking upper half- the waist, arms, shoulders, and neck tend to be especially lovely on the pear shape.
Tracy Reese Leaf Jacquard Dress
Price: $445

Most of all, choose something YOU absolutely love and feel gorgeous in! No amount of style tips can take the place of confidence and feeling beautiful in your own skin! Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy Holiday! Much Love and stay safe!

MAC Matchmaster Foundation Review

MAC recently launched this new foundation- 14 shades that use translucent pigments to blend seamlessly with your own skin tone. This is a demi-matte finish with a shine reducing formula. It is humidity resistant with a buildable medium to full coverage.

I recently purchased the very lightest shade (haha, of course!) 1.0. Usually MAC foundations are a tiny bit too yellow for me but this shade is quite literally a perfect match. I absolutely love the feel of it. It's very lightweight and doesn't really feel like I'm wearing any makeup at all. I hate feeling like my skin can't breathe and usually rush to wash my makeup off when I'm home for the day. This one felt very light and comfortable to wear.

The coverage was great....I didn't have to use any concealer while wearing this. You can easily build the coverage. I applied a thing layer with my fingers and then dabbed a little extra on with a brush only in places where I needed a bit of concealing. I would say most skin types could use this's not drying or oily. Definitely worth taking a look at! It makes finding the perfect foundation match a little easier, for sure!

Exciting New Things:-)

Hey guys!

I hope all is well with everyone:-) I just wanted to update you guys on some fun little bits of things to come!

Firstly, has anyone heard of Birchbox? I just joined and I think it's a brilliant concept! I'm super excited about it. All you do is sign up and for a fee of $10 a month you get 4-5 deluxe size samples of high end beauty products to try. You also earn points to use towards full size products! It's a great way to try products before you spend the huge amount of cash on them. There are a ton of great videos on youtube about this service. I would definitely recommend trying it for a month and seeing if you like it. For $10 bucks, it's a great way to test out some products you maybe wouldn't normally pick up. I'll definitely be doing a little review of my first box when it comes!

Secondly, I am trying out this supplement called Viviscal. It's actually been raved about in tons of magazines and is super popular among models and celebs. It helps strengthen your hair and is even great for thinning hair. I'm hoping it helps me get fewer split ends and heps my hair grow longer a little bit faster....I'll keep you updated!

Also, stay tuned for a new giveaway coming up really soon-I know I haven't done one in a while so it's about time! I'm trying to pick out something really exciting! Have a great day everyone!
