Quick and Easy Makeup Routine

Your Go-To Five-Minute Makeup Routine

How to look fabulous even when you’re pressed for time

Just because you only have five minutes to get ready in the morning doesn’t mean you should run out the door looking like it. (Unless you’re going for the bedhead, just-woke-up look. In that case, heave ho!) This step-by-step tutorial will show you how to get a gorgeous makeup look in under five minutes.

Sue Devitt Microquatic Oxygen Infusion Masque

I can honestly say I've never tried a facial masque like this one. I mean that in a good way. I have probably only tried 2 or 3 masques (in the 10 years I've used them) that I actually liked and didn't irritate my skin. When I think of masques, the thought of a thick goop that hardens on my face which I later have to take forever rinsing off and my skin is all red from the effort afterwards.

Well, Sue Devitt's Microquatic Oxygen Infusion Masque is entirely different. It's a bright blue (a very pretty color, actually) liquid that you massage into damp skin. It starts to foam up as you gently rub it onto your skin in circular motions. Then you leave it on for 1-2 minutes and rinse off (No hardening or drying!). It's super simple and it's REALLY refreshing. The scent is very pleasant and the masque itself is extremely gentle and suitable for daily use(I like to use it every other night in the evenings).

The Microquatic Oxygen Infusion Masque left my skin soft and very clean feeling with zero dryness or tightness. My skin has been really clear and bright the past 2 1/2 weeks I've been using it. In my opinion, another great Sue Devitt product! Want proof? I'm also a paying customer! I liked the products so much, last week I ordered the Microquatic Purifying Cleanser to add to my routine. It just arrived yesterday so I'll get a review up in a couple of weeks.

I was sent this product for the consideration of review.

My Top 10 Metallic Makeup Products for Spring

Metallics are such gorgeous colors especially when we're talking makeup! There's a pretty, universally flattering shade for everyone to wear and can give a really beautiful glow. From shadows, bronzers and lip colors, here are My personal Top 10 Gold Makeup products! (In no particular order) I unfortunately only have pictures for some, but just check out these products at your local Ulta, Sephora or Mac Store:-)

1) MAC Lipstick in "Bronzilla", $14

This is a great color to wear on it's own or pair it with another lip color. It's be pretty with a gloss or it'd look great if you swipe it over a pink lipstick. This will really warm up your whole look!

2) MAC Lipglass in "Gold Dust", $14

The perfect gloss to add a little golden sparkle and shine to any lip color. Also gorgeous to wear on it's own!

3) Urban Decay Eyeshadow in "Honey", $18

This shadow is really glittery and is a very true honey gold color. It's very pigmented and very flattering!

4) MAC Cosmetics "Metal Maven" Lipstick, $14

This is a really pretty frosty silver color that looks best when worn over another color...like a pretty pink or berry shade. If you're daring, go for the all out silver and pair it with #5!

5) MAC Cosmetics "Rock Out" Lipglass, $14

A very sheer gloss with a silver base and silver shimmer. This looks so gorgeous over a variety of lipsticks. So pretty!

6)MAC Cosmetics Electra Eyeshadow, $14.50
I love silver shadows and Electra is definitely one of my favorites. A perfect compliment to a gorgeous smokey eye or just to wear on it's own. It's super pigmented and in my opinion, very wearable!

7)Urban Decay Dime Eye Liner, $17
A very silver, shimmery eyeliner. This is actually hard to wear alone all around the eye. What I like to do is line the lower lash line (Just the inner half) with this liner and than use a regular black liner on the outer half of the lower lash line. The silver brightens up the eyes!

8) Urban Decay Eye liner in Lucky, $17
This is a really rich, deep copper color. I LOVE this liner because it really compliments blue eyes but it would look great on anyone! A great alternative to your everyday black liner, especially for Spring!

9) Too Faced Absolutely Invisible Candlelight Powder in Sheer Gold, $25

An incredibly gorgeous highlighting powder. Or use all over to set your makeup and give skin a gorgeous "candle light" inspired glow. So lovely for Spring!

10) Shu Uemura Base Control Complextion Enhancer in Bronze, Gold, or Silver, $22.50

You can put this on under your foundation and it'll give your complexion a subtle glow. Choose whichever shade compliments your skin tone (cool-silver, warm-gold or bronze). These also make good highlighters and can be mixed and layered.

Well, those are my Top 10 Metallic Beauty Products. I'd love to hear what you've tried and love or any suggestions of shades to try out! Let me know in the comment section!!

New Beauty Line: Tarina Tarantino

This new beauty line immediately caught my eye. It's so luxurious and girly looking and I'm loving the look of the packaging and products. Tarina Tarantino is a former makeup artist turned accessory designer. Now she's used her awesome talents to create this trendy new beauty brand. What do you think? Are you interested? What would you like you want to try? Head on over to Sephora Online or your local Sephora store and let me know!

Availability: Sephora

Here's a few of the items that I'm dying to try:

Eye Dream Hypershadow
There's a pretty nice range of colors (Which will probably continue to expand, I imagine) and they're described as being bold and "Hyper-pigmented". I definitely want to try these! I'm especially eyeing "Hoop" and "Memento".
Price: $19

Magic Hour Cream Shadow
This cream shadow can be used for a base, used alone for a wash of color or be used as a liner. Currently comes in three colors. Purple Velvet and Golden Shadow look so pretty!
Price: $19

Conditioning Lip Sheen
Some really pretty colors although not a huge range. I think "Pendant" looks incredibly gorgeous!
Price: $22

Sparklicity Shimmer Dust
I'm in love with this bottle. I love vintage looking "perfume" bottles. It contains glitter for the body and hair which would be fun to wear out to a club or a fun night out!
Price: $39
