Great Skin for Spring Series: Skin Care Tips




Having great looking skin makes one's daily beauty routine go much more smoothly. There are so many types of skincare products out there and there is no one size fits all skin care regime.

Here are some basics to getting great skin:

1. Find out what skin type your are. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser. After a few minutes, blot face with blotting paper or tissue. If just your t-zone is oily and the rest of your face is normal to dry, you have combination skin. If it's oily all over, you have oily skin. If it's red and irritated you probably have sensitive skin and if your skin feels dry and tight all over you have dry skin.

2. Get Skincare products suited to your skin type. Usually a three step system of cleanser, toner, moisturizer, some times a night cream or heavier moisturizer for nighttime.

3. Wash your face twice a day. Once in the morning and once at night. Over washing your skin can lead to dryness, irritation, or further breakouts.

4. Keep it up! It usually takes several weeks before you'll notice improvement so don't get discouraged and give up!

An extra tip: Even if you have oily skin, you still needs to moisturize! Just find a moisturizer that's oil-free and made for oily-combination skin types.

You got an informative lists, and that's are the very basic to make your face and skin smooth and fresh. It is better to apply before sleep, because our body is in a relaxation mode. It is also advisable that you clean your face after using mac cosmetics lipstick and makeup.
