How To Create High Cheekbones

High Cheekbones, like lovely model Bianca Balti's here, are a highly coveted feature among women of all shapes, sizes, ages, and races. Some are lucky enough to be born with them, while others of us were unfortunately not blessed with the most defined cheekbones. Never fear though, here are some great tips to contour and highlight those cheeks to fake the look of more prominent cheekbones.

1) After applying your foundation and concealer, use a taupe powder blush or sculpting powder, apply it to the hollows of your cheeks, located right beneath your cheekbone. An easy way to find them is to make a fish face. You can also contour the sides of your nose and along your jaw. Make sure there is no visible lines or stripes by blending exceptionally well.

2) Apply highlighter liquid, cream, or powder to the tops of your cheekbones to draw light there and make them look higher. Other places to highlight: the bridge of your nose, cupids bow, chin, lightly on the forehead and temples.

3) Next, apply some pretty light peachy or pink blush higher up on the apples of your cheeks, lightly sweeping it back along cheekbone.

Product Suggestions:
1) Benefit 10- This little box has a contouring powder and a gorgeous pearl pink powder for highlighting.
2) MAC Cosmetics Pro Sculpt and Shape- Although you have to have a Pro card to get this product, it comes in a few shades and is absolutely perfect for Contouring and highlighting-it was made for that purpose, after all!
